About Me:
My 'Silver Tales' story...
I have always loved making things and learning new craft skills, from crocheting, knitting and needlework to upholstery and 3D decoupage pictures. I have always loved jewellery and used to make some bits and pieces for myself, I would even go as far as buying a few pieces and merging them to make different unique pieces.
So, I thought, why not enrol in some jewellery making courses and workshops and learn to do it properly! - So I did. I loved it sooo much and couldn't wait to make the next piece and the next... before I knew it, I had lots of pieces made, and lots more ideas for more pieces. With this in mind, I decided to register with The London Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office to get some of my Silver jewellery hallmarked and then started a little business selling my creations online.
My partner, Lewis, was very supportive and quickly got to work creating this fantastic website for me. I owe him a massive 'thank you' for all his hard work and determined dedication.
"All the jewellery is handmade and/or handcrafted by me. I am really enjoying making all these beautiful items. It's a wonderful sense of achievement when each piece is completed and the ultimate compliment and 'seal of approval' is when someone else wants to wear one of my pieces".
